My laptop had xp and linux coexisting quite happily since I needed xp
for some windows related coding. Unfortunately that co-existence came
to an end when I needed a 10Gig Virtual Machine accessible from both
Windows and Linux. FAT32 has a file size limit of 4 Gig. NTFS can't be
written to reliably from Linux.
Step up http://ext2fsd.sourceforge.net – a driver for windows to read Ext2 (and by extension, Ext3)partitions. Runs like a dream, and means I can have a consistent file
system across the board. Lovely and stable.
