Old news to many, but I've discovered Pandora – part of the Music Genome Project.

Songs by more than 10,000 artists have been analysed and classified according to many different factors. You can choose a song then Pandora will start suggesting other songs you might like.

Normally a scary man, Steve Ballmer excels himself in this Windows 1.0 advert , in full 'QVC' mode.

This person will run Microsoft after Bill Gates leaves. Be afraid.

The 'Greenphone ' by Trolltech , who are mainly known for their applications within the KDE/Linux space has been advertised. At the minute, it's not available as a standalone 'contract free' product as Trolltech want as many developers as possible to take it on and write stuff for it (including replacement firmware)

Looks good – going to try and get one for work, budget allowing. Will report back if/when it hits my desk.

Someone has taken one of the crates from Counterstrike and created a real-life copy of it, pixels and all!

Admittedly, it's weird seeing the crate in real life. It looks almost superimposed.

…and throw me to the episodic psychopathic lagomorphs. Sam and Max has been resurrected at Telltale games.

Sam and Max was a comic then a Lucasarts game, back when Lucasarts didn't suck (a long, long time ago). It was one of those point and click adventure games not unlike Day Of The Tentacle or Curse Of Monkey Island. The humour was unmistakable and it's one of the few adventure games I replay occasionally thanks to ScummVM.

Lucasarts tried to do a sequel then canned it, to the annoyance of many. Now a rag-tag fleet of non-sucky ex-Lucasarts programmers has resurrected the license and completed the game. It's going to be episodic, as many games are nowadays, but if it means that we see Sam and Max sooner rather than later, all the better!
