Turns out that (not so) little Mia is 6.5 lbs when we had the penultimate scan today. 4 weeks before she’s induced on the 19th September.

Odds are currently on a 9 pounder – I’m just thankful poor Loui doesn’t have to carry Mia to term – would have been 6 weeks away!

Warning – unashamed advertising ahead

My friend Rebecca’s gallery “alt.gallery” did incredibly well on its opening night, where she opened with a series of works by more than 80 artists, based on Harry Smith’s Anthology of American Folk Music.

The exhibition was extended by an extra month due to popular demand. Rebecca is planning the next exhibition, based around US musician Daniel Johnston. Forty of his drawings, early tape covers and rare 7” record sleeves will be on display. The exhibition opens on 4th September at 6pm.

Rehearsals went well – just need to nail Pretty Vacant and get Wookie to try and remember how many bars before the first break. Took camera along and got some pics. Wookie managed to get a semi arty shot thanks to low batteries not triggering the flash
