Back home…
Mia arrived at 14:52 today. 8 lb 1 oz of utter cuteness. More pics here
I’m so proud of the pair of them. Loui started at about 20:30 last night, so deserves her break and I’ll be seeing her back home tomorrow

Loui is currently dozing between contractions
Looks like Mia will be with us soon!
Unless Mia shifts into a higher gear and finds some tunnelling equipment, my daughter isn’t going to be born on international ‘talk like a pirate day‘
I’ve just returned from the RVI in Newcastle after 6 hours of waiting, leaving Loui tucked up in bed in the induction suite. Going to grab a nap with one ear open on the phone just in case!
Well, I’ve been with BT for 6 and a half years and it’s time to move on. Loads of positive milestones have happened in my life while I’ve been there – much of it because of the people I worked with. I won’t miss them because I don’t plan on losing touch with them!
Where am I off to? Well, Loumia Consulting has been formed (most importantly I’ve registered the domain) and I’m going contracting. Got a good piece of work set up to start with, for an excellent local company. Loui has been incredibly supportive and my accountants (David Allen) are already doing a good job.
